Overview

The Loop Network is an online community for female founders. The mission of the Loop is to address the gender gap in entrepreneurship and venture capital by providing and sharing resources for female entrepreneurs. Female founders can meet one another on the Loop’s platform through one-on-ones or group salons while also accessing articles and resources on how to start a company and source funding.

My Role

I was the UI/UX designer and frontend engineer on this project and worked closely with the founder to create this new website. I also worked with the marketing team and community management team to finalize the color palette and lay out the logistics of the Group Salon program. My responsibilities included:

• Developing the team’s design system and marketing website in Figma

• Collaborating and brainstorming with the founder to add new features and updates

• Building the frontend UI of our product using React and collaborating with the backend engineer to complete integration with the backend code
