Overview

On a single night in 2018, here are over 550,000 people experiencing homelessness in the United States. A lack of identification documents is a major obstacle for those experiencing homelessness and can bar them from many opportunities. 54% of homeless individuals are denied access to shelters and 53% were denied food stamps due to lack of photo ID. Keep.id is a nonprofit organization working to address this issue by providing a safe space online for people to store their important identification documents.

Target Users

Individuals of all ages that are experiencing homelessness in major cities in the United States.

My Role

I was the Lead UI/UX Designer working with cross-functional teams of product managers, software developers, designers, and business developers. I am helping build the team’s design system, create user flows, and build out new web app features.
